[Arena, WI]
I've been teaching high school science (Biology & Human Anatomy/Physiology) for the past 16 years.  Divorced 4 years ago, but have since found the love of my life, Ed Odgers a native Wisconsinite who loves horses as much as I do and is also an extraordinary saddle maker to boot.  We live on a farm west of Madison with 8 horses, 2 cats and a dog. I still enjoy downhill and x-country skiing during the winter months.  During summer months I can be found trail riding, camping, improving my horsemanship skills, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.  LIFE IS GOOD! :-)

[Santa Maria, CA]
Thankfully, I have gotten older and wiser. While I still have some dignity left, I just don't care if I'm having a bad hair day anymore! Age is a beautiful thing, except in bad lighting. I have been married to my soul mate for 21 years. We have 3 boys, 2 in college and one learning to drive. He will not be driving my car anytime soon. I seem to be experiencing empty nest syndrome because I am collecting animals. I have been working in animal shelters for 12 years and it is an occupational hazard. In addition to my 2 adult dogs and 2 adult cats, I just added a puppy and a kitten.  The kitten cost me a motorcycle. My husband has always wanted a motorcycle, but agreed to wait until the children were out of the house. After adding a puppy to the animal kingdom, he was resistant to adopting a kitten. So we now have a kitten and a motorcycle. Perhaps we should call the kitten Honda. While many things have changed, some have stayed the same. I still love chocolate. What more could a girl want in life?

Linda Blatt
[IMill Creek, WA]
After high school I went to college in California. I spent my junior year in Austria and graduated from UCLA in 1984. Educated but with no marketable skills (can you say liberal arts major?), I decided to pick where I wanted to live and find a job and place to live after that. I moved to San Francisco and lived with my older sister, sleeping under her dining room table (seriously), for 6 weeks until I found work and an apartment. I fell into the computer industry at age 27 (as a temp) and worked my way from very humbling beginnings to writing computer manuals. After 10 years I called it quits and went into semi-retirement.

For the next 8 years I did whatever got my interest. I volunteered as an animal assisted therapist with one of my dogs for three years, volunteered with the SPCA, hospitals, and other human services organizations, and basically entertained myself as I saw fit. It's good work if you can get it! I saw the beginnings of a mid-life crisis after 6 years of that, so, after considering the red sports car, I decided instead to go back to school and become a nurse. I am finishing my last year of school now and should be working as a nurse by the time our reunion rolls around.

I'm very happy and love what I'm doing. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and having a little too much to drink in weather that is just a little too hot for comfort and a pool that is just right for relaxing. Ring any bells for any of you from our last reunion?

I graduated From OU with a BS in Education.  I taught school in Moore, OK for 7 years before moving to Texas and going into the printing industry.  I lived in the Dallas area for several years before moving to the LA area for a couple of years.  I moved back to OK for a couple of years but really missed living near the ocean so I moved to Jacksonville, FL and have been here about 7 years and love it.  I am now a wimpy Floridian when it comes to going back home to the cold.  LOL!  I have a son who is 24 years old and graduated from college this month.  He is an awesome kid, if I do say so myself.  He is the highlight of my life.

Well,  Keith retired from the military at 20 yrs and we're now just outside of D.C.  To many people crammed into to small an area makes me long for Okla., but what ya gonna do?  You guys would laugh at what people here consider a "yard."

I picked up an autoimmune disorder while stationed in Italy related to a botched  minor surgical prodedure.  Please, don't let anyone tell you that socialized medicine is as good as ours.  Trust me, it's not. On the brighter side, it got me out of nursing as I can't be around sick people. Yeah!  Now I enjoy piddling around the house, although Keith says I do anything but piddle. Nothing makes me happier than gutting something unnecessarily, just because I can....  Lindsey is in high school and she's such an easy kid.  She's just like me, never gets into trouble (which means she doesn't have enough fun). Come to think of it, our entire family is rather dull.   We're lucky as we're blissfully unaware.

Hope everyone is well and happy.  Have a great time at the reunion!!!

Allison

Lia Bonifield Jones
[St. Charles, MO]
My life in a brief blurb.  I worked in Oklahoma City for the OK Easter Seal Agency, after graduating from Phillips University.  I moved to Washington, DC and lived there until 1996, working in the hospitality industry and enjoying life.  Steve and I got married in 1995.  He was a Geodedst? Engineer for the British Military.  We moved to Newbury, England and I learned how to peg wash on the wash line, play netball, and have many fun adventures.  Carla was born in Oxford England and has dual citizenship.  In 2000, we moved to St. Louis, MO, where I enjoyed organizing special events until 2008.  The last two years have been a strange ride of lay offs, temporary employment, and trying different careers.  I never thought at my age, I would be job hunting!

webfind = Carrie told me I had to update my information or she wouldn't send me funny jokes anymore.

After graduating from Rice U. with a History degree, I went to law school at Wash. U. in St. Louis where I received my law degree in 1987.  I practiced in OKC for two years at Andrews, Davis and then moved to Tampa, FL where I got a federal clerkship and met my wife. In 1991, I took my present job at Fowler White litigating insurance coverage matters.  We have one child, Nick, who will be 12 November 27, 2008.  I try to make the most of the outdoor activities here in Tampa, including tennis, scuba, softball, team sports.

2019:

Rice University grad ‘84, then law school at Wash. U. in St. Louis. 32 years practicing law, 26 of that in Tampa, FL. Relocated for my dream job in Seattle in 2015 and living the dream on Bainbridge Island where I can see orca from the ferry like this afternoon! Married for 28 years to Pat and we are now empty nesters with a son (Nick) about to start law school in the fall at University of Toronto!

Divorced in 1997.  Almost got it right. :) Married again in 2000 and have a 13 year old stepson Chandler.  I feel like a cat with many lives. I don't know how many of you out there remember me but scrolling through the directory, I sure do remember a lot of you.  It would be good to hear from you!

2019

I went welding and working in the oilfield in Norman at a place called Arvine Pipe and Supply right out of high school. From there I had welding jobs for about 10 years. Then I went to Aviation Mechanic Technician School at Metro-Tech and became a A&P mechanic working on airplanes. I worked for a company called RandAir then JB Aviation and finally Higgins Interiors all in the same hangar. The first two were for a year or two each but Higgins I spent 14 years with. We did paint and interiors for private and corporate aircraft. About 2005 my health declined and I have been retired since.
