After graduation and
leaving my dream behind of going to college and being involved with the
music field (teaching or otherwise) I was married a few months
later. That lasted until 1991, we have three children, Elvis,
Jeremiah, and Natalie. I started college in 1994 taking one class
at a time, working full time and having three small children at
home. I finally graduated in 2001 from Rose State College with an
Associate Degree in Legal Assistant, then I continued my education at
the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor Degree
in Liberal Studies. I worked for Giltedge Farms/Hiland Dairy for
over 14 years in the accounting field before entering the legal field
in December of 2000. I passed the National Association of Legal
Assistants national exam for paralegals in 2008 so I am one of 645
Certified Paralegals in the entire state of Oklahoma. I work for
a large law firm in Oklahoma City where I specialize in estate
planning, corporate law , and taxation. Between 1994 and 2008 I
was married twice
and divorced. I became a grandmother in March 2009 and soon to be
another in July 2009. I am now in a loving relationship with my
best friend Kevin Daffer and hope to spend many years together. |
